Wade Bussert

Luther “Wade” Bussert, 65, of Kewanna passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 following a brief illness.

Born on May 31, 1958 in Medford, Wisconsin, he was a son of Harry and Shirley Ann (Ingram) Bussert.

Wade was a 1976 Kewanna High School graduate and he also attended Ancilla College.

He enjoyed gardening, taking care of his animals and being active in the local art community for many years.

Wade worked at Green Oak Antiques in Rochester for over 40 years and also cleaned and did maintenance for Community State Bank in Kewanna and the Kewanna United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Bussert of Kewanna and brother, Ryan Bussert (Sari) of Springfield, Ohio.  He is also survived by many many friends.

Wade was preceded in death by his father, Harry Bussert and partner, Jeffrey Skersick.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Heartery, 414 E. Main St., Kewanna.
