Thomas Knight

Thomas Knight, 83, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023. 

He was born on May 19, 1939, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Erwin Knight and Erma Garde Bell Knight.

Thomas served his country with the United States Navy from 1958-1961. He loved the outdoors, and sitting out on the lake catching fish was one of his favorite pastimes. Well, really anywhere some big fish could be caught. He also enjoyed working around the house and staying busy doing different tasks that he enjoyed. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two wives; Shirley Reams Knight and Virginia Hardin Knight, and two half-brothers; Maylin Knight, and Doyle Knight.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Knight, and wife Sara Lamas Knight of Santiago, Chile, granddaughter, Shelby Knight of Florala, Alabama, step-grandson, Andres Moran of Santiago, Chile, cousin, Bobby Leasure of Florida, nieces; Ginger and Becky Leasure of Florida, Stephanie Knight of San Jose, California, nephews; Mike and Randy Leasure of Florida, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation was held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clinton, Arkansas.

Burial will military rites will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, 1800 Grant St., Logansport, IN. 46947
