Richard N. Pearson

Richard N. Pearson, 66, of Logansport passed away at 2:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at his
residence.
Born on August 5, 1957 in East Chicago, Indiana. He was the son of Lewis and Janetta (Dudley) Pearson.
On February 12, 1988 he was married to Maria (White) Pearson, she preceded him in death.
Richard formerly worked for 25 years as a laborer at LIUNA Local 274.
Richard enjoyed visits and chats with his children and grandchildren, attending softball games and plays
that Diana was involved in, and was so proud of his children’s accomplishments in life. He enjoyed
tinkering on restoration projects and antiques as well as collecting old coins.
Survivors include his son, Jeremie Pearson (Rachelle) of Logansport and daughter Diana Pearson of
Bloomington. Grandchildren Gracie and Noah Pearson, Miranda and Grant Stoner and Great
Grandchildren Sophia and Isaac Luna. Richard had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by daughter, Melissa Stoner, both of his parents, his brothers Lewis Jr.
(Bucky), David, Michael, and Ben and a sister Della.
Visitation will be at Rans Funeral Home, Marocco Chapel, Logansport, IN., on Saturday, September 9th from 2-4 PM.
