Obituary

Richard M. Osburn, 58, of Logansport passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at I.U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on February 19, 1965, in Pineville, Kentucky, he was the son of William and Jean Osburn.

Richard was a U.S. Army veteran.  He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time outdoors.

He was currently employed at Smithfield Foods in Peru.

Survivors include his sons, Richard B. Osburn of Michigan, Mark M. Osburn (Veronica) of Winamac and Ronnie Woodring of Michigan, daughter, Brittany Woodring of Michigan, father, William Osburn (Dana) of Greentown, mother, Jean Osburn of Logansport, brother, James Mark Osburn of Mexico, sister, Anechia Nelson (Darin) of Galveston, grandchildren, Elijiah Osburn, Kalasia Wilson, Xaiver Osburn, Zoey Osburn, Rose Osburn, Guilianna Osburn and Talia Osburn and former spouse, Shawna Hall  of Logansport.

He was preceded in death by stepfather, Ronnie King.

Services will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 7, 2023, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.

Burial with military rites will be performed at Ever Rest Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
