A Celebration of Life in loving memory of our mother Virginia Lee Michels, 63, of Kewanna will be held Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 2 to 6 p.m. at her daughters home at 8877 West 850 South, Kewanna.
She passed away at 9:37 p.m., Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital.
Born November 29, 1944 in Illinois she was the daughter of the late Francis & Margaret (Clealand) Michels.
Virginia was a homemaker who loved to read and crochet, and also enjoyed books on tape and movies.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Gustave F. Salyer (Todd Kuhn) of Monterey, Lela Ellinger (Gregory) of Kewanna and Thelmarae Wieringa (Paul Kelley) of Park Forest, Illinois; one son, Charles F. Stirk (Judy) of Lake Village, Indiana; brother, Michael Michels, brother-in-law, Kurt Garicz; 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Garicz and Geraldine Lilley, sister-in-law, Sharon Michels and a granddaughter, Aubree Jean Townsend.
