Tammie Sue Heiny

February 24, 1963 — January 13, 2016

Tammie Sue Heiny, 52, of Royal Center passed away at 4:13 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 24, 1963 in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of William Wallen and Anna Faye Wireman.

On February 24, 1990 she married Scott A. Heiny, he survives.

She had formerly worked at Pulaski Healthcare Center in Winamac, Indiana Beach and she was a former manager at Casey’s Gas Station in Logansport.

Tammie attended Revolution Community Church in Logansport.  She enjoyed collecting frog memorabilia and most all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Heiny of Royal Center, her children, Jodie Muckenfuss (John) of Logansport, Amanda Brooks of Royal Center, Sheena Heiny (companion Todd Stover) of Lake Cicott, Shelby Heiny of Royal Center, Tanya Owens (John) of Winamac and Cougar Heiny of Royal Center, parents, Anna FayeTolson and husband James of North Judson and William Wallen and wife Wanda of Knox, brother, Steve Wallen of North Judson, sisters, Kimmie Delasontos of Winamac and Amber Wallen of Knox, and grandchildren, Derek Napier, Isiah Hardy, Madison Hardy, Kwintin Heiny, Apple Muckenfuss, Ivan Muckenfuss and Addilee Stover, Cameron Stover and Cayden Stover.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and cousins.

She was preceded in death by brother, Billy Wallen and son in law, Joe Robison.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Ryan Lewellen officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America and/or the American Cancer Society.
