Susan C. Nawrocki, 73 of Winamac passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at home.

She was born on December 22, 1952 in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Barbara Sopiarz.

Susan formerly owned and operated Hug-A-Pup Kennel.  She also was a German Shepard Breeder.

Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Herman, sister, Michelle Skoglund, brothers, Michael Sopiarz and Bobby Sopiarz and grandchildren, Kyle Herman and Mackenzie Herman.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Richard Sopiarz and sister, Mary Sopiarz.

There will be no service at this time.

Cremation will take place at Indiana Central Crematory owned and operated by Rans Funeral Homes.
