Steve M. Jackson, 76 of Star City passed away at 12:42 a.m., Monday, August 10, 2026 at Hickory Creek of Winamac.

Born on October 4, 1949 in Carrollton, Georgia, he was the son of Hugh and Dora (Ellen) Jackson.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. Steve was a pioneer in the cable and communications industry.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Kay Foerg; daughters, Mari and Mindi; grandsons, Ashton and Elijah; granddaughter, Percy and great granddaughter, Eden.

There will be no visitation or service.

Cremation will take place at Indiana Central Crematory owned and operated by Rans Funeral Homes.
