Ryan V. Povilaitis, 36, unexpectedly passed on December 24, 2025, in Logansport.

He was born in South Jordan, Utah, on April 21, 1989, the son of Victor and Elizabeth (Partozoti) Povilaitis.  

Ryan was 2007 graduate of Knox High School.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Afghanistan.

Ryan was a talented sketch artist, enjoyed cooking, gardening, and being a friend of those in need.  

He is survived by his parents, his stepmother Sally Povilaitis, his brother Jason Povilaitis, half brother Adam Dinsmore, half sister Emily Dinsmore-Stelow, step brother Jason Hovis, as well as many other loving relatives.

He will also be missed by lifelong friend, John Brooke, and many other friends of all walks of life.

Services  with military rites will be performed at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2025 at the Mt. Hope Cemetery Chapel in Logansport.
