Ruth K. Larkin

Ruthie K. Larkin, 76, of Kewanna passed away at 10:20 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor in Culver.

Born on November 11, 1941 in Warsaw, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Naomi (Scott) Hodges.

Ruthie had lived in California and Texas before moving back home to Indiana. She formerly worked as a Minister and Counselor at Unity Church in Texas.

Ruthie enjoyed the outdoors and growing flowers. She especially loved visiting the ocean and Mount Shasta.

Survivors include her sons, Robert R. Mitchell (Michelle) of Corona, California and Jeffrey S. Mitchell (Lillian) of Georgetown, Texas, grandchildren, Cory, Danielle, Emily and Jack and her locally adopted family, Jan and James French and their family Ashley, Chelsea and Chad.

She is preceded in death by father, Robert Hodges and mother, Naomi Poyner.

There will be no services.

Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home and Indiana Central Crematory is assisting the family.
