Ronald D. Wyatt

Memorial Services with Military Rites for Ron Wyatt, 56, of Logansport will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday March 10, 2008 at Main Street United Methodist Church, Logansport.

He died at 10:00 p.m. Friday March 7, 2008 at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Born May 30, 1951 in Hartford City, Indiana, he was the son of Junior C. Wyatt and Velma (McElroy) Messersmith, they survive.  On March 28, 1999 he married Malinda S. Wagner, she survives.

Ron was a Graduate of Lawton Barber College, Lawton, Oklahoma and Walla Walla Community College with a degree in Computer Science.  He was an Army Veteran, a life member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans), American Legion, a Certified NRA instructor and he was very dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America 202 where he was the Shooting Sports Director and Leather Crafting Instructor.  Ron enjoyed cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Malinda S. Wyatt of Logansport, Mother, Velma Messersmith of Hartford City, Father, Junior C. Wyatt of Parkland, Washington, 4 sons, Joshua D. Wyatt of Bozeman, Montana, Joel C. Wyatt of Muncie, Indiana, Johnathan R. Wyatt (Jeannie) of Ft. Lewis, Washington and Terry L. Culbertson II (Melissa) of Keystone, 3 daughters, Jennifer E. Wyatt (Rob) of Edmonds, Washington, JoyAnn A. Wyatt of Logansport and Elizabeth A. Harris (Jen) of Bonney Lake, Washington, 4 brothers Calvin Wyatt, Charles Fear, Patrick and Joseph Wyatt, 6 sisters, Freda Wyatt, Theresa Rodrigues, Mary Eddy, Jackie Wyatt, Tammy Haney and Kelley Wyatt, 8 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the Boy Scouts of America 202, Logansport.

Arrangements are being handled by Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
