Graveside services for Robert L. Hile, 69, Kokomo, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Deer Creek Cemetery, Deer Creek.
He died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 in Howard Regional Health Systems, Kokomo.
Born May 22, 1938, in Logansport, he was the son of Lester and Minnie (Caldwell) Hile.
He wasretired from Trelleborg Inc., Logansport.
He was a devoted father and grandfather and enjoyed gardening, watching television and was a lifelong Notre Dame fan.
He is survived by one daughter, Sherie J. Hile Hoosier and her husband, Randall, Kokomo; two grandchildren, Triesha N. Hile and Trinton J. Hile, Kokomo; one great grandson, Jacoby N. Hile, Kokomo; great granddaughter, Mackenzee Hays; two sisters, Betty Gordon and Jeanette Beeler, both of Logansport; two brothers, Bill Hile, Florida, and Wayne Hile, Logansport; and brother-in-law, George Arion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marjorie Arion, and one brother, Paul D. Hile.
