Richard "Rick" Weller

Richard “Rick” Weller 76 of LaPorte, a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, passed away peacefully at 7:00pm, Wednesday September 18, 2024 at home.
The son of the late Raymond Weller and Barbara Carr. He was born on May 10, 1948 in Logansport, IN. Rick grew up in Kewanna, IN where he later graduated from Kewanna High School.
At the age of 20 while attending Ball State University, Rick enlisted in the Marines to serve his country as a Field Radio Operator at the height of the Vietnam war. 
Upon returning home, Rick later owned and operated Quality Industrial Services and was an electrician with the IBEW Local #531.
Rick is survived by Belinda his wife of 52 years, two children Richard Chad Weller (Debra) of Rolling Prairie and Megan Gimlin (Kenneth) of California, four siblings Donald Weller, Cora Lynn Weller, Randy Neidig, and Angela Scott, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
