Naomi F. Poyner

Naomi F. Poyner, 89 of Culver, formerly of Kewanna, passed away at 3:00 a.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at Millers Merry Manor at Culver.
Born August 5, 1919 in Warsaw, she was the daughter of the late Merle & Trella (Munson) Scott. She was a 1937 graduate of Warsaw High School.
Mrs. Poyner was a retired administration secretary from TRW Space Research Division, Redondo Beach, California.
She was a member of the National American Legion Auxiliary, Quartus Foundation of Beorne, Texas and Unity International, Kansas City, Missouri.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Larkin of Kewanna, two grandchildren, Rob Mitchell of Corona, California and Jeff Mitchell of Phlugerville, Texas and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James R. Poyner in 1982 and one sister, Bea Harris.
There will be no services or calling. Arrangements are being handled by Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel .
