Michael A. “Mick” Hall, 81 of Logansport passed away at 4:36 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2026, at Miller’s Merry Manor.  He was born in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Herman Allen and Shirley Mae (Quinn) Hall.

Mick was a Kokomo High School graduate.  In January of 1980 he married Jackie Shepler.  She preceded him in death on May 21, 2021.

Mick was a retired Union Carpenter and was also formerly employed at Mike Anderson Auto.  He enjoyed bass fishing, bowling, playing pool, taking care of his garden and cooking.  Mick was an avid Bears, Notre Dame and NASCAR fan.  He loved gummy bears and tootsie rolls. Mick will also be missed and so will his meatballs, salsa and Jalapeno poppers.

Survivors include his daughters, Laura Cracknell of Tennessee and April Wimberley of Virginia, son, Mark Thompson of Washington DC, stepdaughters, Shelley Jensen (Dave) and Angie Shepler all of Logansport, and, brother, Denny Hall (Mary) of California. He is also survived by grandchildren, Nathan (Amber) Garrison, Joshua Garrison, Michael (Crystal) Garrison, San Tana Garrison (Blake Metzger) and Adam Jensen, 5 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sisters, Carol Shutt and Joyce Stansberry.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the America Legion Post 60 in Logansport.
