Mary A. Correll
January 12, 1923 — July 19, 2015
Mary A. Correll, 92, of Logansport, formerly of Peru, went to be with her God Almighty at 1:15 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Chase Center.
Born on January 12, 1923 in Peru, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Tribbett) Zimmerman. She married Elmer Ray Correll, Sr in 1945. Together they had six children.
Survivors include daughters; Arlice McKinney of Peru, and Coetta Sratton of Missouri, sons; Aaron “Tom” Barnes of Georgia, Kevin “Terry Ray” Correll of Peru, step-sons; David Correll, and Stanely Correll both of Logansport, and Keith Correll of Florida, and brother; William “Billy” Zimmerman of Florida. Mary is also survived by 15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sons; George Correll and Matthew Correll, step-sons; Elmer, Jr., Max, Dean, and Nathan Correll; three sisters, Betty Murray, Louise Mikesell and Eva Hedge; seven brothers, Earl, Irvin, Robert, Raymond, Warren, Joe and Louis Zimmerman; and a granddaughter, Elisha Barnes.
A graveside service will be held at Ever Rest Memorial Park on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Mary’s grandson, Pastor Lew McKinney officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
