Margo Anne Marocco, 81, of Logansport passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Chase
Center.
Born on March 23, 1942 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Charles and
Margareth (Oldendorf) Coffman.
She was a Bloomfield Hills High School graduate and later graduated from Central Michigan University
where she received degrees in Journalism and Library Science.
On December 4, 1976 she married Louis R. Marocco, he survives.
Margo retired from the Pharos Tribune after 43 years where she was the wire and business editor.
She enjoyed the Arts, especially writing and painting.
Survivors include her husband, Louis “Louie” Marocco of Logansport, brother, Retired U.S. Army Colonel,
Charles Coffman (Judy) of Port St. Lucy, Florida, sister, Judith Huber of Hillsborough, New Jersey, son,
Mark Anthony Marocco of Logansport and granddaughter, Whitney Marocco (Ted) of Logansport. She is
also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
