Margaret L. Martin

Margaret L. Martin, 95 of Royal Center passed away peacefully at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on October 22, 1922 in Brookston, she was the daughter of the late Obie Ryan and Ethel (Carlson) Bell.

Margaret was a 1941 graduate of Royal Center High School.

On November 8, 1941 she married R. Boyd Martin.  He preceded her in death on September 5, 1999.

Margaret retired from RCA in Monticello in 1982.  She was a member of the Royal Center United Methodist Church and she enjoyed traveling in her younger years with her husband.  Margaret also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth Martin (Phyllis) of Logansport, David Martin (Vicky) of Sacramento, California and Jerry Martin (Kathy) of Logansport and grandchildren, Kevin Martin (Linda) of Rochester, Michelle Caudle (Randy) of Logansport, Audrey Bazos (Andre) of Sacramento, Amy Mosteller of Seattle, Washington and Obie Martin (Becky) of Logansport.  She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by brother, Delbert Bell and sisters, Dorothea Steele, Dovie Weida and Ruth Carnahan.

Services will be at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Adrianne Curtis officiating.  Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.

Graveside services will be private at Kistler Cemetery.
