Maralee S. (Sill) Shriver, 97, of Ossian, Indiana and former resident of Royal Center, IN. passed away peacefully Monday, July 1, 2019 at Ossian Health Rehab Center in Ossian.

Born on January 28, 1922 in Lewistown, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Sill and Elizabeth Marie (Hinderliter) Sill.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William L. (Bill) Shriver, two daughters, Betty Ann and Sandra Lee, two brothers, Donald Sill and Robert Sill, a daughter-in-law, Karen Shriver, and a son-in-law, Jeff Henschen. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Rich) Utterback, Ossian, Indiana, son, David (Patti) Shriver, Brooksville, Florida and daughter, Luan (Henschen)(David) Louis, New Breman, Ohio. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Maralee loved her Lord and Savior, prayed for her family daily and led a full life. Maralee and her husband Bill enjoyed traveling all 50 states as well as other countries. She held many roles in her lifetime including being a teacher, a farm wife, a secretary and an avid golfer. She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, sewing and painting. Maralee was a member of Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center, IN.

A memorial service for the family will be held at a future date in Ohio.

Memorials may be made to Baptist Christian Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home & Crematory, Royal Center Chapel.
