Lois E. Binney

Lois E. Binney, 84, of Royal Center passed away peacefully at 2:15 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Chase Center in Logansport.

She was born to the late Lawrence and Beulah (Kirkendall) Archey on October 22, 1940 in Shelbyville. Lois graduated with the class of 1958 from Forest High School. She worked for many years at Exide before retiring to Florida and working with home health care.

Lois loved spending time with her family and especially their dinners together. She was fond of her favorite cat and dog, Candy and Puck. Lois enjoyed doing crafts and playing cards with friends.

She is survived by her children: Gregory Binney (Diane), Lorie Hiatt (Jim), and Jodie Miller (Chris); 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren (and 2 more great-great grandchildren due to arrive soon) .

Lois is preceded in death by: her parents Lawrence and Beulah Archey; and sister Joan Laughner.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025 at our Royal Center Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial will follow at Kistler Cemetery.
