Linda K. Ryan

Linda K. Ryan, 73 of Kewanna, formerly of Blue Island, Illinois, passed away at 8:48 a.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Life Care Center of Rochester.

Born on May 10, 1950 in Blue Island, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Charlet (Harvey) Andersen. On September 13, 1986, she married Joseph P. “Joe” Ryan.

Linda was a homemaker and master gardener. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching and horses. She was an active member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary James F. Talbott Post #1121 in Kewanna and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #36 in Rochester.

Survivors include her husband, Joe Ryan of Kewanna, children, Michael Demith (Dottie) of Chicago Heights, IL., Sandy Bliss (Robert) of Darien, IL., Amy Neace of Blue Island, IL. and Jessica Fowler (Jason) of Kokomo, and grandchildren, Autumn Haslinger and Stella Neace.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Harry F. Andersen, Judith L. Loudon and JoAnne B. Costello.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel in Kewanna with Pastor Chris Kosary officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
