His unwavering commitment to hard work was exemplified through his career as a skilled mechanic, and he was most recently employed as a maintenance mechanic at Arconic in Lafayette. He had an innate ability to fix things and took a lot of pride in his work, and especially his family. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with his family and was an avid history lover. Leroy was a member of the Church of the Heartland.
