Larry W. Nipper

Larry W. Nipper, 79, of Logansport, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Born on December 30, 1945, in Tipton, Indiana, Larry was the son of Orville and Orlean (DeWitt) Nipper. A man of many talents and a great sense of humor, Larry found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was known for his knack for fixing things, spending countless hours working on cars and lawnmowers. He also loved spending time outdoors, whether it was fishing or just sharing a good joke with family and friends. Larry was also a fan of friendly competition, often found enjoying games of darts and pool.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Lee Anne; his children, Nathan Nipper (Beth), Michelle Knight (Mike), Crystal Gadin (Lyle), and Erik Stearns; and his brother, Jerry Nipper (Deann). Larry also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Orlean Nipper; his sons, Leonard Ray Nipper and Derik Stearns; his brothers, Andy Nipper and Dale Nipper; and his sister, Carolyn Porter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel.
