Karrell “K” DuBois, 89, of Star City passed away at home peacefully on February 15, 2026. He was born on September 5, 1936 to the late Clyde Dubois and Tressa (Wiler) DuBois in Mishawaka.

“K’” married the love of his life, Dawn Samuels on May 11, 1957 in South Bend. He loved fishing and nature.  He also was an avid Chicago Bears fan.  “K” was known for his fun sense of humor. He was a loving father and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife Dawn; children: Don DuBois (Laura), Craig DuBois (Amanda), and Janet DuBois; grandchildren: Chad, Amanda, Shannon, Tyler, and Daylan.

Preceded in death by his parents Clyde Dubois and Tressa DuBois; and his siblings: Delois, Melvina, Maxine, Ethel, Zale, Paul, and Don.

Cremation will take place at Indiana Central Crematory, owned and operated by Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory.
