Julia A. Johnson

Julia Alice Johnson, 69 of Logansport passed away peacefully at 9:20 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on April 3, 1949 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Jamie (Cornell) Green.

She was formerly employed in the housekeeping department at Chase Center for over 10 years.

Julia was a member of Lucerne Christian Church, she enjoyed crocheting blankets for family and friends, playing games on her tablet, playing Bingo at Millers Merry Manor, taking care of her beloved dog Sassy and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Arthur Johnson of Logansport, daughter, Nicole Johnson of Logansport, sisters, Jean Hettinger (Jim) of Logansport, Peggy J. Ramanathan(Rams) of California, June E. Sumey (Roger) of Logansport, Betty Shepard of Fowler, and Ruby Gwin of Linden, step daughters, Amy Wells (Bill) of Noblesville and Tammy Peacock of Marion, She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Harold, Floyd, John and Wilson Green and sister, Ruth Nangle.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dirk Raderstorf officiating.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Association.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel & Indiana Central Crematory.
