Judith J. (Leffert) Beckley

Judith J. Beckley, 86, of Royal Center passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester.

Born on August 29, 1935 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Manford and Helen (Spitznogle) Leffert.

She was a 1953 Washington Township High School graduate.

On June 5, 1955 she married George Thomas Beckley.  He preceded her in death on September 24, 2008.

Judy was formerly employed at the Pharos Tribune and retired from the Pioneer High School cafeteria after 23 years.

She was a member of Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center.  Judy enjoyed volunteering her time for church functions and playing Euchre with friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Christy Park and her husband, Ronnie of Tippecanoe and brother, James Michael Leffert and his wife, Lanea of Galveston.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 15, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, Royal Center with Pastor Joel Sharp officiating.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Indian Creek Christian Cemetery.
