Jennie Mae Pufahl

Jennie Mae Pufahl, 97, of Royal Center passed away peacefully at 1:45 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on October 5, 1917 in Jefferson Twp in Cass County, she was the daughter of the late James and Jennie (Burgess) King.  On June 15, 1935 she married Clarence “Stub” Pufahl.  He preceded her in death on July 4, 1978.

Jennie retired in 1980 as a Seamstress at the H.W. Gossard in Logansport.  She was a member of the Royal Center United Methodist Church and the Mary Martha Circle.  Jennie enjoyed her card clubs, crocheting, crafts and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Delores Manning (Charlie) of Kokomo, Darrell Pufahl (Phyllis) of Fishers, Darlene McKinney (Jerry) of Goshen, Charles Pufahl (Janet) of Pineville, Louisiana, and Michael Pufahl of Royal Center.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her son, Clarence “Eddie” Pufahl, Jr., brothers, Armsted Donald King and Edward “Roy” King and sister, Edith Miller.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Adrian Curtis officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2015 at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Burial will be at Royal Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Royal Center United Methodist Church Kids Club.
