Jean Osburn, 77 of Logansport passed away at 9:59 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at home surrounded by family. Born on March 6, 19949 in Log Mountain, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Bessie (McNamara) Gibson.

Jean formerly worked at Wilson’s, Switches, RBM and operated in home childcare for many years. She was a thrifting queen who loved yard sales, spending time with her grandchildren, and taking care of her beloved dog, Ginger.

Survivors include her daughter, Anechia Nelson (Darin) of Galveston, son, Mark Osburn of Logansport, brother, David Gibson (Tammy) of Twelve Mile, twin sister, Judy Brooksher of Logansport, and grandchildren, Benjamin Osburn, Mark Osburn, Ronnie Woodring, Brittany Woodring, Levi Osburn, Luke Osburn, Reagan Nelson, Allison Yoder and Emily Nelson. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild on the way.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2026 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St. Logansport. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
