Jane Anne McIntire, 86 of Crawfordville, Florida (formerly from Indiana) passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 23, 1937, in Carmel, Indiana she was the youngest daughter of 3 of the late Paul and Mildred (Johnson) Willoughby.

On January 11, 1957, she married Leonard McIntire, in Muncie, Indiana, who survives.

Jane received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1961 from Ball State Teachers College, Muncie, Indiana.  She later received her Master’s degree in education in 1975 from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana.

Jane taught Business Education at Talma, Culver, and Delphi high schools for an accumulative of 31 years.  She retired from teaching in 1993 from Delphi High School.  She touched many students lives while teaching throughout the years.   She enjoyed being with family, camping, playing cards, cooking, sewing, spending time at Gulf Shores, Alabama, and happy hour drinks.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Leonard McIntire of Crawfordville, Florida, sons, Rick McIntire of Crawfordville, Florida and Daniel McIntire (Genevieve) of Medford, New Jersey, daughter, Jan Wilson (Darrin) of Nelson, Wisconsin, sisters, Merna Daily of Star City and Carol Boatman of Roseville, Michigan.  She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Ryan Dickinson (April) of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Wesley Dickinson (Kaila) of Brownsburg, Indiana, Brittany Morgan (Sam) of Seattle, Washington, Alec McIntire of Shamong, New Jersey, Evan McIntire of Charleston, South Carolina, Gianna McIntire of Shamong, New Jersey and Ethan McIntire of Medford, New Jersey and 7 great-grandchildren, Chandler, Conner, Kinley, Piper Jane, Skylar, Alden and Henry.

A celebration of Life will be held at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzer Chapel, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna, Indiana at a date to be determined.

Burial will be at Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Kewanna, Indiana at a date to be determined.
