James "Jim" L. Simons, 63, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 18, 2016 unexpectedly at his residence.
Born on June 9, 1952 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Richard, Sr. and Alice Jane (Beck) Simons.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his nephews, Josh Simons and wife Christine of Monticello, Robert Simons, Sr. and wife Candyce of Logansport and William Simons and wife Tammy of Kentucky.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Richard Simons, Jr. and Thomas Simons.
Full Military Rites will be conducted at 9:00 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2016 at Marion National Cemetery in Marion.
