Private services for James Jason Sturdivant, 37, of Lafayette, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
He died at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007 at his residence.
Born April 14, 1970, in Logansport, he was the son of James and Janet (Johnson) Sturdivant.
A 1989 graduate of Logansport High School, he worked in maintenance for Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette and Bloomington.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Janet and Ken Gotshall; his father, James Sturdivant; one sister, Kirstin Sturdivant, all of Logansport; maternal grandfather, Hobart Johnson, Fort Myers, Florida; paternal grandmother, Jean Sturdivant, Logansport; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel.
