Gladys Mae (Harness) Hamilton, 59, of Logansport passed away peacefully at 6:40 am, Tuesday, April 21, 2020 surrounded by family.

Born on October 30, 1960 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Dwight and Rosezella Ann (Vermillion) Harness.

Gladys was a former caregiver at Camelot Care Center and she enjoyed helping those with special needs.  She was a simple person who loved her family and enjoyed the little things in life.  Gladys enjoyed elephants, racoons, watching wrestling on tv and playing bingo and sudoku.

Survivors include her children, Crystal Vinson (Israel) of Logansport and Glenn Hamilton (Deborah) of Logansport, brother, Larry Harness (Patti King) of Bass Lake, sisters, Vivian Grover of Plymouth and Donna Minix of Monterey, sister in law, Pat Harness of Plymouth, grandchildren, Kalvin Smith of Logansport, Dominic Smith of Peru, Shantel Smith of Kokomo, Shiane Smith of Logansport and Houston Hamilton of Kokomo, great grandchildren, Mylie Smith, Evelynn Smith and Xayvier Smith, step children, Shelby Foster-Callander and Justin Foster-Callander.

She was also preceded in death  by her companion, William Callander on April 4, 2020, sister, Sandy (Harness) Heater, brothers, Eugene Harness and Terry Harness, brothers in law, Francis Heater, Roy Crull and Paul Minix.

There will be no visitation or service due to the covid-19 pandemic.
