George C. Feidner

Services for George C. Feidner, 77, of Medaryville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.
He passed away at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac.
Born May 28, 1930, he was the son of the late Harlan George and Irene (Swafford) Feidner. On May 30, 1953 he married Betty J. Ditto, she survives.
George was a Army Veteran serving in the Korean War where he received the Purple Heart.
He was an avid gardner.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Feidner of Medaryville, daughter Debbie S. Beyers (Tony) of Clermont, Florida, son, Kevin L. Feidner (Loretta) of Hammond, daughter Dionna M. Huston (Michael) of LaPorte and son James D. Feidner (Milly) of Hobart, Indiana, 5 sisters, 3 brothers, 3 grandsons and 4 granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. Pastor Thomas Dewlen will officiate at the services.
Burial with Military Rites will be conducted at Grass Creek Cemetery.
