Gay C. Miller

Gay C. Miller, 83, of Lake Cicott passed away at 9:19 a.m., Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on June 25, 1940 in Lake Cicott, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Good) Watts.

Gay was a 1958 Royal Center High School graduate and she also graduated from Wrights Beauty College.

On May 30, 1959 she married Ronald Miller, he survives.

Gay co owned and operated Logan Carquest Auto Parts alongside with her husband, Ron.

She enjoyed knitting, cooking, quilting, mushroom hunting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Miller of Lake Cicott, daughters, Kelly Brew (Steve) of Royal Center and Karol Russell (Don) of Royal Center, son, Scott Miller (Darla) of Peru, grandchildren, Shawn Russell (Amanda) of Kokomo, Dustin Brew of Peru, Lacey Schnurpel (Justin) of Royal Center, Heather Tocco (Trent) of Logansport and Ashley Raiford (Drew) of Whitestown, step grandchildren, Brooklyn Wilson (Jack) of Peru and Chas Wilson (Shayla) of Peru, great grandchildren, Karson Russell, Alyssa Brew, Hunter Brew, Mason Schnurpel (Alexis Neal), Peyton Schnurpel, Tyler Schnurpel, Addisyn Tocco, Berkley Tocco and Cole Tocco and step great grandchildren, Chaston, Ally, Tatum, Ryder and Aislyn.

She was also preceded in death by brother, Ward Watts and sister, Pam Dawson.

A Gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, 304 S. Chicago St., Royal Center.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department.
