Gale L. Strasser

Gale L. Strasser, 73, of Logansport passed away at 12:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born on May 4, 1943 in Cass County, he was the son of the late Dennis P. and Florence E. (Crockett) Strasser.
On February 11, 1962 he married Joan D. Nethercutt, she survives.
Gale was a retired member of the Hod Carriers and Bricklayers Union Local #274 in Lafayette.
He enjoyed watching football especially the Chicago Bears and the Denver Broncos and he also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife, Joan D. Strasser of Logansport, daughter, Stacy J. Asselin (Jeff) of Logansport and son, Shaun P. Strasser (Malissa) of Peru, sisters, Ruth Smith of Lucerne, Dorothy Cain (Jim) of Texas and Sherry Powell of Iowa, sister in law, Evelyn Strasser of Lucerne, grandsons, Wayne Asselin (Sharla) of Logansport and Bradley Strasser of Peru and great grandchildren, Jerran, Dylan, Alex, Aiden, Jaxson and Lexi.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Fred and Carl Strasser and brother in law, Jack Smith.
A Celebration of Life Gathering for family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Gale and Joan’s residence at 613 Tanguy St., Logansport.
