Frank A. Hines Sr.

Frank A. Hines Sr., 71, of Winamac/Kewanna passed away at 9:52 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Chase Center in Logansport following a sudden illness.

Born on August 27, 1950 in Winamac, he was the son of the late Adam and Frances (Hurlburt) Hines.

Frank worked at Winamac Steel for over 20 years. In his younger years, Frank enjoyed playing softball, hunting and auto racing.

Survivors include his son, Frank Hines JR. (Katie) of Wheatfield, daughters, Myra Hines (Rodney) of Kewanna and Becky Hines (Damien) of Denham. Grandchildren, Jacob Hines, Trevor Thomas, Donita Hines, Kinsey Wolford, Xaiden Stout and Zurie Stout. Great grandchild, Kadyn Hines. He is also survived by brother, Adam Hines (Bonnie), sisters, Rosemary Marsh (William) and Cindy Cole, brother-in-law, Ray Katschke, church wife, Mindy Herren, step-son, Jason Herren and many other family and friends.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Donita Hines, step-son, Brian Wallace and siblings, Geneva Shidler, Robert Hines and Alberta Katschke as well as many other loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
