Services for Frances A. Petrie, 76 of Logansport will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday May 21, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St. Logansport.
She passed away at 9:10 p.m. Saturday May 17, 2008 at her residence.
Born Sept. 26, 1931 in Rossville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Pauline (Booth) Spurgeon.A� On May 15, 1958 she married Richard Petrie and he preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1969.
Frances retired from the Logansport State Hospital in 1995 from the Dietary Dept. after 13 years and she was also a Homemaker. She was member of the Logansport Eagles and VFW Ladies Auxiliaries and she enjoyed reading, flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include 1 daughter Connie Hickle and husband Guy of Logansport, 1 son Rick Petrie and wife Jackie of Logansport, 7 grandchildren, Jason, Ryan and Andrew Hickle, Autumn, Mitchell and Austin Petrie and Courtney Richardson and 3 Great Grandchilden, Brent, Alexis and Andrew Hickle.A� She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter and 1 sisterA�A�
Calling will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday May 20, 2008 at the Marocco Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport and Pastor Jeff Ropp will officiate the service.
