Logansport

Eugene N. LeDonne, 85, of Logansport passed away at 5:40 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on October 5, 1935 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Menonz and Mary (Riccardi) LeDonne.

He attended Logansport High School.

Eugene was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a retired Railroad Conductor.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley LeDonne of Logansport, daughters, Luanne Beekley of Ft. Wayne and Lisa Heare (Gerry) of Mason, Ohio, stepdaughters, Susan Thornberg of South Bend, Roberta Adams (Michael Doherty) of Salem, Massachusetts and Victoria Kring (Rick) of South Bend, sister, Annie LeDonne of Logansport.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by son, Alan Eugene LeDonne, brothers, Robert LeDonne and Francis LeDonne and sisters, Alice Jean Marshall and Mary Miller.

Private family services will be held.

Burial with military rites will be performed at Mt. Hope Cemetery Veterans Square.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
