Services for Ellen K. Rivers, 83, of Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She died at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in Chase Center.
Born September 30, 1923, in Hammond, she was the daughter of the late Manford E. and Florence (Larimer) Riggle. She was married October 11, 1945 in Logansport to Glenn D. Rivers, Jr., who preceded her in death October 3, 2003.
Mrs. Rivers was a homemaker. She attended Hammond Grade School and graduated from Hammond High School.
She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, David Glenn Rivers and his wife, Diane, Mishawaka, and Mark Earl Rivers, Logansport; two daughters, Beverly J. Willing and her husband, Jeff, and Loris J. Abney, all of Logansport; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and two sisters also preceded in death.
Pastor Art Maloney will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral chapel.
