Services for Elizabeth R. Hurlburt, 73, of Star City, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 31, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center.
She died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at her residence in Thornhope.
Born March 31, 1934 at Silverpoint, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late William and Siddy (Herl) Moss.A� On December 2, 1950 she was married to Kenneth Wayne Hurlburt, Sr., he survives. Elizabeth was a homemaker and also a retired seamstress. She was a proud 1988 graduate of Winamac High School where sheA�earned her GED.
She was a member of Lawton Christian Church, Lawton, Indiana.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Wayne Hurlbert,Sr., Star City; 4 sons, Keith Hurlburt (Lynda), Winamac; Kenneth Wayne Hurlburt,Jr., Star City; Ron Hurlburt, Winamac; Randy Hurlburt, Star City; 1 daughter, Laura Schneider, Star City; 2 sisters, Lois Hopkins, Remington, Indiana and Buna Hickey, Cookeville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son, Kevin Hurlburt, 2 brothers & 3 sisters.
Pastor Jerrel Hartle will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Victor Chapel Cemetery, Star City.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 30, 2008 and also after 9 a.m. Monday til the time of service at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel.A�A�
