Services for Dorothy N.J. Vernon, 74, of Logansport will be held at 2 p.m., Friday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She died at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born March 10, 1932 in Onward, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Lula (Sidell) Dunkin.
Dorothy worked in the grinding room at Muehlhausen Spring in Logansport for 23 years. She liked to play bingo and watch wrestling on TV.
Surviving are one daughter, Sandra Sue Hoover and her husband, Don, Logansport; one son, Jerry Dale, Ohio; two grandsons, Donald Hoover, Jr., and Michael Hoover, both of Logansport; eight great-grandchildren, Aaron Hoover, Calvin Hoover, Sierra Hoover, Shyann Hoover, Ashlynn Hoover, Elaina Hoover, Michael Hoover and Da Kota Hoover; and several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers, Jerald and Jim Dunkin, preceded in death.
Pastor Art Maloney will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday in the funeral chapel.
