Services for Staff Sgt. Donald D. Mann, 69, of Rochester formerly of Lucerne will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
He passed away at 2:54 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Born November 25, 1938 in Durham, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Herman and Christine (Barnwell) Mann.
Donald was a retired Staff Sgt. from the United States Army after 23 years where he was a Vietnam veteran.A� He most recently retired in 2003 from the Logansport State Hospital after 20 years.
He enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid baseball fan.
Survivors include his wife Janice M. (Lisenko) Mann of Rochester; 2 daughters, Donna and Christine of California; step son, Harry A. Batson and his wife Karen, Rochester; step daughters, Robyn M. Kidder and husband Jason, of Rochester and Michelle A. Kocherderfer of Ohio; brother, Michael Bruce Mann, 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 4, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel.A� Burial with full military rites will be conducted at Zion Cemetery, Culver.A� Rev. Johnny Thompson will officiate at the services.
