Diana R. DeWitt, 73, of Logansport died at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday February 26, 2008 at Woodbridge Health Campus.

Born on October 8, 1934 in New Castle, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy (Doty) Purvis.

She was a Homemaker, a member of First Assembly of God, Logansport and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include 2 sons, Kevin M. and Kirk D. Swartzell both of Logansport, 2 daughters Lisa C. Smith and husband Edward of Logansport and Laura R. Benson and husband Mark of Royal Center, step son Bob DeWitt and wife Rita of Monticello and step daughters Lynne Martin of Logansport, Debi Trapp and husband Louis of LaGrange, Georgia and Cheryl Colee of Logansport, Grandchildren, Joshua Smith (Brandy Zieder), Eli Smith (Karrie Moore), Eric Smith (Shelby Rollins), Shana Swartzell, Keith, Ted and Sarah Benson, Travis Scott and Austin Swartzell, Loryn and Kristin Martin, Jason DeWitt and wife Shanon, Jennifer DeWitt, Amber Hubble and husband Geoff, Jacob and Justin Colee. Great Grandchildren, Derek and Rylie DeWitt, Dante Cearing, Gage and Bode Smith.

Diana was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. ??Gene?i�� DeWitt who died on November 28, 2000 and 1 Great Granddaughter Kaia Lynn Smith.

Services are to be private. There will be no visitation.

Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to onechr(39)s favorite charity.

Arrangements are being handled by Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St. Logansport.
