David M. Yoder, Jr., 73 of Logansport passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Chase Center in Logansport.

Born on April 5, 1952 at Bent waters Air Force Base in England, he was the son of the late David M. Yoder, Sr. and Mary Louise (Arone) Yoder.

David was a 1970 Logansport High School graduate. David loved school and later received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University Kokomo in 2012 at the age of 60.

David was proud Eagle Scout and was inducted into the Order of the Arrow at Camp Buffalo. He also received the Ad Altare Dei Award in Scouting.

Survivors include his sister, Karla Sammons and husband Frank of Logansport, brother, Joseph L. Yoder of Bedford, nieces and nephews, Alicia Sammons, Hayley Yildiz, Steven Sammons and Jaime Sammons and great nieces and nephew, Olivia, Katelyn, Astrid and Zayne.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2026 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Logansport.
