Connie L. Barnett, 77 of Lafayette formerly of Kewanna passed away peacefully at 12:59 a.m., Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Majestic Care of Lafayette.

Born on October 9, 1948 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Dorothy (Minniear) Foster.

On May 9, 1998 she married Kenneth Barnett, Sr.  He preceded her in death on August 1, 2005.

Connie worked in housekeeping and was also a cook.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Lafayette.  Connie enjoyed crafts and decorating her home.

Survivors include her children, William, Rhonda, Michelle and Hope; brother, Ronald Foster and his wife, Francis.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Foster.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2026 at our Kewanna Chapel.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Kewanna.
