Born July 10, 1942, to the late Ernest and Mary Jane (Walker) Cotner, in Logansport.
Survivors include son, Bill Powell of Logansport, daughter Tina Morris of Columbine, Colorado, two brothers, Michael Cotner and wife Helen of Bloomington, Illinois, and Dan and wife Anna Cotner of Loga
