A Mass of Christian Burial for Carol J. Klimes, 72, of Lucerne will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2008 at All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport.
She passed away at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
A�Born on February 21, 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Rosalie May (Hoskins) Morgan.A� On September 3, 1955 she married Richard D. Klimes, he survives.
A�Carol formerly worked for United Way and retired from Schraderchr(39)s Automotive both of Logansport.A� She was also a Homemaker.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making Rosaries.
Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Richard D. Klimes of Lucerne, children, David R. Klimes and his wife Liz of Greenwood, Daniel L. Klimes and wife Deb of Logansport, Diane M. Erickson and friend Dave Geisler of Logansport and Douglas A. Klimes and wife Christi of Louisville, Ohio, and Debra R. Julian and husband Scott of Logansport, sisters, Karen Sue Starr of Richland, Iowa, Kristy Albright and husband Tim of Beeman, Iowa and Kathy Coleman and husband Steve of Richland, Iowa, 12 grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey and Catherine Klimes of Greenwood, Jacob Klimes and wife Patty and Jessica Klimes all Logansport, Joshua and wife Kayla, Mathew and Aubrey Erickson of Logansport, Christopher Klimes and wife Brittany and Brittany Klimes all Louisville, Ohio, Brandon and Ryan Julian of Logansport, Granddaughter in law, Jane Klimes, 5 Great Grandchildren, Derek Klimes, Jake and Brayden Erickson, Auren and Evelyn Klimes.A� She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents and 1 grandson, Jason Klimes.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel in Logansport where there will be a Scripture Service at 7 p.m.
Father Mike McKinney will officiate and burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
