Bobby L. Black Jr.

August 14, 1964 — September 13, 2016

Bobby L. Black Jr., 52, of Logansport, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his residence.

Born on August 14, 1964 in Logansport, he was the son of Bobby and Edna (Wood) Black, Sr.

He was a Twin Lakes High School graduate.

Bobby was a self employed truck driver for over 30 years.

On October 19, 1991, he married Christiana “Chris” Frye, she survives.

He was a Nascar and Chicago White Sox fan and he enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and taking care of his dogs.  Bobby also enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Chris Black of Logansport, parents, Bobby and Edna Black, Sr., of Burnettsville, children, Larry Hayden, Lacey Harrell (Chuck) and Landon Hayden all of Logansport, brothers, Charles Black and Mark Black both of Burnettsville, sisters, Pam Snyder (Dick) of Buffalo and Kim Turner of Burnettsville, brothers-in- law, Larry Frye (Ana) of Logansport, Paul Frye (Lori) of Peru, Daniel Frye (Cynthia) of Logansport, and Dennis Frye (Nonie) of Logansport and grandchildren, Skyla, Isaiah, Zac and Lillie.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Black.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
