Billy L. Patterson, 89, of Logansport passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was born to the late Clarence L. Patterson and Leona (Hinkle) Patterson on April 11, 1936 in Walton.

He proudly served in the United States Army. Billy was a member of the Logansport VFW Post 3790 and American Legion Post 418.

Billy was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing. He will be dearly missed by many.

He is survived by his children: Mike Patterson (Amy), Marty Patterson, Pam Kelley (Kevin), Wendy Harrell, and Danny (Patterson) Clearwater (Diane); twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister Bonnie Bowyer

Billy is preceded in death by his wife Beverly Patterson; one granddaughter Misty Roller; his siblings: Bobby Patterson, Betty Puzzela, and Bernice Willis; and his parents Clarence Patterson and Leona Patterson.

Cremation will take place at Indiana Central Crematory, owned and operated by Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory.
