Bertha Jo Chambers
March 22, 1931 — April 25, 2017
Bertha Jo Chambers, 85, of Rochester, passed away at 5:19 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne.
Born on March 22, 1931, in Star City, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Ardella A. (Jenkins) King.
On August 24, 1956, Bertha married Lorian D. Chambers who preceded her in death on January 13, 1978.
Bertha was a former member of the Moose Lodge, and the Moose Heart.
Survivors include daughters; Lori Chambers of Twelve Mile, Julie Camp (Keith) of Twelve Mile, and Vicki Nickel (Don) of Logansport grandchildren; Nicole Willy of Spring Hill, Florida, Amanda Hopkins (Chris) of Logansport, Jolene Gallegos (Jamie) of Hobart, Andrew Berkshire of Walton, and Steven Rader (Alisha) of Peru. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; Shelby Hopkins, Will Hopkins, Ben Hopkins, Madison and Bobby Campbell, Keith Berkshire, and also Vanna and Sadie Rader.
She was preceded in death by brother, John King.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
